So my wife and I are newly polyamorous. She has had a boyfriend (Josh) for about 6 months. He's a good guy. Wife sees him about once or twice a week. We have dinner and movie nights together about once a month. Josh has had another girlfriend (Sally) who He's been with for a few years. They're into BDSM.

Recently he met another girl (Laurie) who was interested in BDSM. Josh informed my wife and Sally that he was going to meet with her for dinner. My wife was fine with it. And she figured there would be a chance that Josh and Laurie would have sex, since it was a date that would involve sexual conversations. Sally was fine with it too. And they did have sex. Now Sally is upset, saying he lied to them about the date and is telling all their mutual friends and partners thism My wife is fine with what happened but its really blown up the polycule.

I'm not as well versed on the rules of polyamory. I don't think Josh did anything wrong. Thoughts?
