After being monogomous for two years I brought up my desire to open our (M23 and M21) relationship in some way. For the past few months we've been talking and reading and sharing and working on enmeshment and talking some more, and we've just about got our ducks in a row.
The open communication and intimacy alone has been so wonderful so far. And now he's let me be comfortable sharing about somebody I have a crush on- which has been anxiety inducing, as it's a friend of mine who he doesn't really get on with, and they will never be friends in any way- AND he's teasing me about it and sharing how it makes him feel happy and it's cute.
I know jealousy, insecurity, and more conversations will come in time naturally. But I'm enjoying the warm fuzzies and butterflies between us from all of this. And it's making me feel confident we have the tools and love to navigate it all. Feeling good. That's all!
