What are the characteristics of a horrible hinge partner?

Recently, my [29m] two lovers [27f], [30f] started heading butts. It got so bad to the point that they unfriended each other.
The whole situation makes me feel insecure as a hinge partner. I failed to listen to them both compassionately. I think I also might have unintentionally added fuel to the fire and stirred the pot.
I want to be a better partner and lover in general. What are some things I should avoid as a hinge partner? Some things that come to my mind as of now:
- Being a people pleaser
- Being Conflict avoidant
- Saying yes to too many plans
- Favoritism - This one is built in, because I'm in a hierarchical relationship with one of them. Of course, I hate the hierarchy and I think that ideally, we should eventually get to an "equilibrium".
