I'm going away on an overseas trip for the first time in years. My wife and I have flights that were bought before the pandemic. At one stage my other partner and her child were supposed to be coming. Theres a story there but it's not the one I'm telling right now. The point is they might have come. And I am bummed out that they aren't. It would be a far bigger deal to them than me and my wife. ... Had to get some passports renewed. My wife asked my partner to be the reference, without running it past me. She's just the easiest person for her I guess. Obviously she said yes. But I can feel the air getting pretty thick here. I'm pretty annoyed with her insensitivity. Just a rant. For a poly situation that couldn't normally happen.
