I know it’s Monday but I just wanted to share about a what a fun weekend I had :)

On Friday night I decided to go for a drive around town by myself since I didn’t have any other plans and it was D&D night for my NP and the boys. While I was driving around I thought I’d stop by a bar that I’d gone to with a friend once. Drinking alone can be interesting, but I thought I’d text my friend to see if he wanted to come hang out. Turns out he was at a different bar with his roommate, so I went to meet up with them. We had so much fun! We were all flirting with each other and I even made friends with some strangers which was a huge step outside of my comfort zone! I tend to be pretty introverted, but I just felt so confident in such good company. It was a nice change of pace. I ended up going back to my friend’s place for a while, and while nothing else happened other than us kissing I still had a great time.

Then on Saturday, I spent the day with my NP. We wanted to look at a few apartments since we’re moving soon, but somehow we ended up at the animal shelter visiting all of the cats. He keeps trying to convince me that we need a third cat… one day lol. Anyway that night we went to my sister’s birthday party where there were more drinks and more good times. And on Sunday we all went to brunch for a final birthday celebration for her. It was just such a great weekend, I’m stuck between thinking about how great it was and how nervous I am to ask my friend if he and his roommate want to hang out again 😂
