update There has been much needed discussions on this and now my wife has explained why she wanted me to stop in the first place. She said that she felt I was pressured into it and that I hated it. We both have agreed to be more open on this subject and are now working through it. Thank you guys for your insight * So before I met my wife I used to smoke. Then when I met my wife she told me she didn’t like it and was against the idea so I stopped. For 6 years I haven’t smoked even if I wanted to because I knew my wife was against it. Now my wife has a new partner and they smoke. My wife is now asking me if it’s okay if she smokes with them. Part of me wants to be pissed off and feel betrayed but then another just wants my wife to be happy and do the things she wants to. How should I feel about this?
