DOMS as an indicator of recovery? 🤔

Assuming that different muscles recover at different rates, and the trend away from bro splits in favor of multi-full body days per week a la Helms and Nippard, would how long your DOMS last be an indicator in any way as to how long that particular muscle takes to recover?

Example: My chest stays sore for days = train it 3 times a week. My biceps only stay sore for a day or two = train them 5 days a week.
