Grip weakness limits Bulgarian Split Squats

I introduced Bulgarian Split Squats in my programme. I'm currently doing them with two 20kg/44lbs dumbbells. However, the last reps of the last set I usually fail because of my failing grip. Before my split squats I do squats and Romanian deadlifts (70kg/154 lbs, 1 set raw, 2 sets with straps). Has anyone had a similar issue? Any tips?

not comment op but there's quite a few, multifidus, transversus abdominis, gluteus medius, erector spinae, rotator cuffs
