Nsuns spreadsheet says you should increase your TM by 5lbs (2.5kg) if you get 2 to 3 reps on your 1 set. I have been doing Nsuns bench for a few months now & I have found that the best method for me is only increasing my TM when I get 3 reps or more which to me makes sense if you look at the progression. For example, if we take your TM as 85kg it will look like this
80kg x 1 77.5x3
82.5kg x 1 80x3
Your previous 1 set weight always becomes the same weight as your following set of 3 reps. So how are you supposed to lift this for 3 reps if you get less than 3 reps when it is your 1 weight? Surely, it would make sense not to increase your TM until you get a minimum of 3 reps on your 1 set? Am I overlooking something?
