Subreddit Rules

Be kind and courteous.

This is for creating more love in the world. If you're not trying to spread love, maybe that post isn't for you?

2

All OPs must be 18+ and post an age.

We love our queer youth and you guys are the future! But I'm not qualified to moderate a forum where minors connect with other minors, so it's better to avoid that.

3

Please be WLW or queer in some way.

Are you bi or pan? You're welcome here. Are you a trans woman? You're welcome here. Are you ace/aro? You're welcome here.

There's been some controversy about enbies and trans men who don't feel safe posting elsewhere. If this is the case for you, just clearly mark that you're not a woman on your post (you don't have to say you're trans) and in the description say you're looking for a safe space to reach out. If that's present, you're good to post.

4

You must post for yourself.

So help me Sappho, if I find out you're posting on behalf of your girlfriend or that you're looking for a third in your heterosexual couple, I will ban you so fast and I will feel no remorse. It will be swift.

5

Kink talk is okay, but keep it relatively clean.

I know the BDSM community is really good about being upfront about what you want and where your boundaries are. That's fine here too. Just don't write erotica, keep it to general terms (e.g. "Seeking a submissive for findom")

6

Trans women are women. Bi and Pan women are WLW.

You can have genitalia preferences from here to eternity and I'll never tell you you can't. What I can tell you is that if you're going to say trans women can't use the term "lesbian," that they aren't women, that they don't belong in lesbian space, I'm gonna ban you, and I'm not gonna feel bad about that.

If you're gonna try to degrade women for not being gold stars, I'll send you a link where you can buy gold star stickers for yourself when you're kicked out.

7

No NSFW photos.

Let your DMs do that heavy lifting. I mod a lot at work, don't get me fired.

8

Minimum Comment Karma Requirement is in place.

Minimum Comment Karma of 250+ to post. Automod filters out freekarma subs because we don't want bots and trolls. Make our lives easier, go comment on some cute puppy pictures on r/tippytaps and prove you're a person. Bonus, you'll get puppies.

Remember, if all your karma is from posts, and not comments, the automod will pull it.

9

No comments about why you're not into the OP.

OP put themselves out there. Don't bring them down. If they're not for you, keep scrolling. You're not the Ladies Critic at the New York Times, we don't need an essay about why you wouldn't go out with someone.

10

No coupled people. Unicorn Hunters need not apply.

It feels like every WLW space is being filled by couples seeking thirds. That's not gonna happen here. There's so many other spaces, and I'd like to keep this one clear of it. This is a strictly single people space. Even if "Oh no, my boyfriend won't be involved, it's just for me," that's still unicorn hunting in this sub's opinion. Poly subs may be a better fit for you.
