Inflammation can be the root cause to many issues people have in their lifes from feeling a lack of energy, spots, rashes and even mental focus.
Inflammation is essentially your bodys immune systems response and this can be high or low depending on what you eat.
I decided to do a 7 day anti inflammation detox this week and to my suprise there is a real scientific calculation to determine what foods and nutrients are causing your body to have an effect!
a few highlights for me:
Fibre/Garlic/Tumeric are amazing anti inflammatory
Caffeine actually an anti inflammatory too! (but green tea is a better choice for pure health!)
Sugar/carbohydrates are not good for you but no where near as bad as Saturated fat and cholesterol
My Diet
I elimiated everything that was an inflammatory according to this research from my diet for 1 week and:
- I lost 3 kilos
- My bags under my eye dimnished
- I had more energy
I would highly recommend more people pay attention to the inflammatory properties of the food they eat going forwards!
