Since Martin's book release, there has been a lot of protein-related talk on this sub. Questions around BCAAs, different types of protein, and protein timing.

This question was the straw that broke the camels back – it sent me down a rabbit hole of trying to articulate in simple terms what matters when choosing a protein powder.

I settled on 4 main factors:

  1. Protein Percentage
  2. Amino Acid Content
  3. Speed of Digestion
  4. Price And Taste

The results are summarised in a protein comparison table (image form). Note that this post is not making any brand recommendations (even though the brand of your protein is mentioned as an important factor for you to consider).

I tried to write the information so that it was both understandable and scientifically accurate. Please let me know what you think.

Is this just an Indy thing? Can't remember the last time I paid more than a dollar for a dozen of eggs.
