Hey guys. I’m currently lean bulking at a -10/ 20 calorie portion. I got about 10lbs until my goal but I don’t mind taking it slow if it means getting leaner results. My current cardio involves:
10 mins each of moderate cardio pre and post-workout. Enough to get me sweating (4 times a week)
On rest days, 45 mins of whatever pair of machines I feel like taking on that day. I do stair machines, treadmill, rowing, elliptical, spin, etc.
Sometimes I can’t go to the gym for rest days but I end up walking for long hours anyway.
My concern is: I’ve been reading about LISS and how it is beneficial for fat loss but most posts I’ve read were doing it during cutting. Should I be concerned or change anything with my cardio routine? Should I incorporate LISS during lean bulking? I don’t mind gaining 0.5lbs a week if I the benefit outweighs the wait.
Edit: What’s the ideal heart rate to stay on LISS zone? I’m 23 years old.
i use to do both. 10 min LISS, 10 min HIIT and 10 min LISS again. u end up swating as fuck.
