Hey everyone.
I'm gonna start with some intermittent fasting for the first time and have read through a good bit of the material but have 2 questions. My current stats are (approx) 6'3, 245 lbs, 23% bf. I haven't done the calculations myself but I'm told my resting calorific defecit (don't know the proper abreviations, sorry) is somewhere around 3200. My workout schedule is Monday to Thursday/Friday in the morning before work. Monday and Thursday are my heavy days cause I train with my PT so have a spotter. My schedule is
Wake about 5:30 Gym at 630-730. Go to the office and work till 5:30 Home between 6:30-7. Bed around 9 or 10.
I'm thinking of breaking the fast around 12pm until 8pm.
My first question is about the BCAAs. My PT suggested a while ago for me to mix a small amount of BCAAs with a large amount of water to encourage me to drink more water and stop relying on soda. It's worked amazingly and I drink between 4-8 litres of water a day with a ratio of about 10g of BCAAs with 2 Litres of water. It's been mentioned to drink 10g of BCAAs to help with the fasting. The way I read it this should be with a small amount of water to get it into your body fast rather than how I am doing it. Should I add an additional 10g with a small amount of water and then continue to sip of my more diluted amount or keep it as it is ?
My second question is, how do you guys find it easiest to divide up your calories ? If aiming for 2500, do you find it easier to do 2 1,250 Kcal meals or 2 1,000 and then 1 500 ?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

taking BCAA daily breaks the fast. it is "necessary" just pre, intra or post workout. not even needed for bulking.
however you want. 2 meals 50%, 4 meals... whatever
