Inexplicable weight gain... Small amount of creatine?
Post Body

For almost four weeks now I've been alternate day fasting at what averages out to a 400 calorie per day deficit.

I haven't cheated. I've maybe had some sub-par eating days, but t never by more than a few hundred calories.

I've seen a steady loss of 1.5 to 2lbs a week... Until this week... This last week ive stalled...

I ran out of my usual preworkout. (No creatine) so I used a sample pack from somewhere... It had 8g of creatine... I typically hold LOTS of water weight on creatine 5-6lbs, when I'm taking it consistently.

Would a one-time pop of 8g of creatine account for a few pounds of water weight like this??

Comments

if you think you are in a correct deficit, then continue, even with creatine.

thermodynamic laws are inevitable, you wont stall. what you are seeing is hormonal changes.
