How does increased testosterone (by fasting) help build muscle if your body is fasted of amino acids? If i were to workout Monday morning and not eat until Tuesday night would my muscles grow or shrink? I know testosterone can preserve amino acids but i cant imagine i can preserve muscles that have been worked out fully, let alone make muscles grow without free flowing amino acids...
Also: as soon as i eat on tuesday night my cortisol will spike and testosterone will return to normal, thus, while im building muscle in my sleep tuesday night wont i have regular levels of testosterone?
GHF-1 is not the same as testosterone. anyways, yes, it is suposed to increase, but you will not have a steroids like result.
dont do IF because of this, search other reasons.
there's an aminoacid pool fot those situations and even without that buffer yout body will burn all the glycogen first and start oxidizing fats (ketones) as fuel on the first hours (72h) of fasting.
