I've been lifting for 3 years now (150lbs, 5'8", ~13% bodyfat) and i recently started the warrior diet. I'm also doing very low carb (no, this isn't hurting my workout performance). I still want to build muscle but my main priority is trying to get around 10% bodyfat as quickly as possible (summer body). I usually have push/pull days back to back, resting on Wednesday and on the weekend. Do you think its good to eat a small surplus on lift days and fully fast on rest days? Usually my body feels pretty recovered after a good nights rest, and i'm wondering if fasting on rest days will halt my muscle gains (I can't imagine i would lose muscle, just grow at a very short rate). Would a good idea be to drink a protein shake right before bed on rest days?
i am about to try a PSMF on rest days for a week or two when i reach a lower bf% as a last lap.
something like fasting 23/1 and 200-250 grams of protein for dinner. easy to get with some chicken or ham and shakes.
