Tips for fasting

Besides the usual coffee and other stimulants there are a few more things you can try:
- Have a low-calorie, low-sodium soup potassium salt as a pick-me-up
- It can stimulate you better than coffee if you are drinking a lot of water, which you should be doing
- Add some oregano for extra antioxidants
- A very small amount of baking soda [dissolved in a bit of water], like a tip of a teaspoon, helps when the stomach is starting to complain
- Theanine to curb the restlessness of coffee in an empty stomach
- A pinch of cinnamon in coffee adds a bunch of antioxidants, too
- A hot cup of sugar-free cocoa
