Road cyclist just starting keto

I just started keto a couple days ago but I'm wondering if that may affect my ability to ride. Looks like my body is just starting to produce some ketones.
My quick question is should I eat some type of carbs before riding, and if I do will it throw me out of keto. My rides are usually 20 miles including one short but steep climb at the end.
I haven't found a conclusive answer on if I should or shouldn't eat carbs before riding.
