I have been in ketosis for the better part of the last 6 weeks, dropping 29 pounds. I have added exercise since the start and have noticed the noobie gains. I workout with my roommate who has been lifting for 1.5 years and he told me to get whey.
I lift 4-5 times a week, but while noticing the muscle and strength increase, I still need to lose a lot of fat (6'3", 309lbs currently, M). Will whey effect the body in any way to get out of ketosis? And is there any other benefit to it besides just meeting macros?
