Stomach tightness/pain while intermittent fasting

Hey folks, I’m 24, male, 164 pounds, 5’10.

I have been doing keto for over a year now, as well as intermittent fasting. I try to not eat until 5 pm, I stop eating after 9pm. This has been going on for a while, im bored at work and was hoping to get some good info from this.

Pretty much daily, around 9:30-10 AM my stomach begins to “tighten”. It’s a strange feeling. It’s almost more uncomfortable than it is painful. It’s not as bad while seated, but when I stand up it worsens. I feel bloated/swollen, and have to push my stomach out to minimize the pain/discomfort. Sometimes, water and sea salt will alleviate this, sometimes it doesn’t work. The pain/discomfort will occasionally stick around until I eat that night. It feels almost like gas. Sometimes my stomach will get a little bubbly and I’ll let out a really powerful fart and it will relieve the pain/discomfort briefly. (So sorry for this description/wording 😂)

Since the salt helps it occasionally, I am wondering if it may be an electrolyte issue. I don’t track them specifically, but I do typically eat a couple handfuls of salt/ lite salt throughout the day.

My diet consists mainly of meat, eggs, dairy, spinach, onions/peppers. Usually protein powder for dessert. I’ve recently tried reducing my dairy intake and that did not help.

Wondering if anyone here has ever experienced anything like this? And how you fixed it? Thanks!
