My dad has type 2 diabetes. It’s pretty out of control and he’s on 2 different kinds of insulin. I’m visiting him and when I arrived Saturday, his blood sugar was 350 (insane). I’m keto and have been cooking for him. While he hasn’t been strictly keto since I’ve been here, main meals are keto. This morning, his blood sugar was 125. Incredible!
However, his Dr paperwork and my brief research says he should be targeting 200-250 carbs per day. This seems...high. Can someone explain what the hell?
