I have been reading and lurking for a bit on r/keto and r/loseit and I finally decided to take the plunge and weighed my options and found that keto fit my life the best (I have a friend who is on it and she has lost a lot of weight). I started about 3 weeks ago and haven't messed up once. I usually eat eggs and bacon (or some sort of meat) for breakfast, a chicken salad for lunch, and some sort of meat and veg for dinner. I feel satisfied throughout the day, unlike when I was on a low calorie high carb diet where I would be hungry like 30mins later.
I am seeing progress as well, I bought a dress shirt in June that I didn't try on before I bought it and it was way too small to wear. Last Friday I wore the shirt out when I went out to a bar, and it fit comfortably! :D Feels good man! I just recently bought the test strips because in the back of my head I was worried I was not doing keto right and I tested my piss and it tested positive for heavy ketones so that is a huge relief. How often should I test myself for ketones btw
