So I started the Keto Diet again two weeks ago. Im Male, 27, 247lbs.
Most likely overexerted myself. This time around I wanted to introduce a bit of exercise to the diet opposed to the first run where I just lowered carbs and high on fat. But I overdid it. almost week ago, Monday, I got off of work at noon and did a 5 mile walk uphill in the hot sun. I got home and rested, sweating it all out and later in the day I felt anxious. I foolishly didnt replinish all the fluids lost so most likely dehydrated myself. I would feel the effects that night as I tried to go to sleep. I woke up around 1:30am really anxious and awake and no matter what I did I couldnt fall back asleep. I stayed up thinking my anxiety would go away at work. I was wrong. I had to leave work 4 hours in cause feelings of tremors and high anxiety and I spent almost a whole week trying to figure what was wrong. I guessed only dehydration and my body being shocked so I drank a lot of water. Problem was I had no appetite.
Its been almost a week now and nights of little to no sleep and anxiety. Its gotten to the point its effecting my work(i called out 2 times already) and life
My friend said I need to continue drinking a lot of water and eat fat. Saying I shocked my body and if I dont eat even though I feel nauseous from anxiety that I will continue shocking it.
Does anyone have any advice? Additional from his.
Also FYI. The whole week I thought I was only suffering from Caffeine Withdrawal and Dehydration, since I do drink a lot of energy drinks. But now it makes sense Caffeine Withdrawal doesnโt just start same day I shocked myself
