So today is my 1st day on keto and so far it's not to bad at the moment lol.
But anyways I decided to make chicken drumsticks as one of my meals for the day. But I'm sorta confused on how to count the amount of carbs I'm eat in the process.
Because my partner who is doing keto with me suggested a sugar free, low carb marinade for my chicken. On the label it says that 1 tablespoon is equal to 1 serving, and in that 1 serving has 1g of carbs.
So I decided to marinade the entire batch of chicken with 5 tablespoon.
So my question is that, when I eat 1 drumsticks. That one piece has 5g of carbs, because I used 5 tablespoon to marinate it.
So if I where to eat 3 pieces, would I then be consuming 15 grams of carbs?
I know it sounds confusing and I'm over thinking it but I would just wanna have a general idea of how to go at it when adding season and marinade to my food.
