A few months ago (maybe a year ago?), I shared a long post about how I felt like I was unhappy on keto because I always had to think about what I was consuming.
A lot of you lovely people shined a light on the fact that being healthy does require a level of consciousness as to what you’re consuming. And that the “ease” of being fat and eating whatever I wanted was not true happiness, it was just easy ignorance.
These two pictures side by side show that I can be happy at either weight, but that I am only truly healthy now... all thanks to Keto. I stumbled on this page via google in February of 2017, and a month later, I decided to change my life forever. It really is quite INSANE to think about.
I am half the person (literally) than I used to be. Thank you all for being awesome, and inspiring one another and myself, and just being all around helpful. I am feeling really grateful for my health and for this community. KCKO.
