Hey Keto'ers.
Three months ago my wife and I started into the Keto lifestyle. Honestly , it was the first time ever that I was fully prepared and ready for such a big change. It was mainly due to seeing all the success stories in here and elsewhere. I figured what the hell, give it a shot right?
When I started this, I was 243, pounds and I hated looking at myself in the mirror. At first I thought I'd lose a bit of weight and I'd be happy but as time went on and I saw the pounds melting I kept pushing harder. Today, I stepped in the scale to reveal that I have reached 204.5 pounds, 38.5 pounds in 3 months.
I'm thrilled that soon, I will be below 200 and into the 100s. This means I can soon start planning for maintenance and perhaps even a bit of bulking out.
I read posts like these so much when I first started, even before I started. The one thing I want people to know who are considering this lifestyle change is that it's actually terribly easy to do, does not actually "cost a ton of money", and becomes regular routine after just a couple weeks.
Our grocery bill has not gone up,maybe actually even gone down because we're not buying tons of junk anymore. I'm always satisfied, never looking for snacks etc. I wish I had of done this so long ago.
The other perks that come with keto have completely changed my life. I no longer feel drained at the end of the day, I don't nap through the day and my overall drive and energy has significantly improved. Everyone around me notices these huge differences. This as a result has also greatly increased my confidence in all aspects of my life.
In short: I feel amazing. You've all been a fantastic source of motivation, keto on you beautiful people.
