Loving Keto! Thank you all!
Post Body

Hi guys and gals,

I just wanted to jump on and say THANK YOU! Thank you so much to this community for the wealth of knowledge and inspiration. I come on here every couple days and nothing is more motivating than seeing other peoples results. I'm 34, Male 177 cm. I chose to start eating better and changing my lifestyle when I was 92 kg (203 lb), it has been 1 month since I started and I can't be happier with the way things have been going. I have dropped 9 kg (20 lbs) in 4 weeks and even if the scale doesn't show the number I want, I still feel it in the way my clothes fit and how my body looks. I haven't hit my primary goal yet (77 kg / 170 lbs) but I feel like it's not going to be an issue. I have managed to keep my carb intake below 10g net each day and I try to keep it as close to zero as possible. My secondary goal is to reach 72 kg (160 lbs) @ 12-15% bf by mid next year. I know this is going to get more difficult but I am 100% committed to this lifestyle and I absolutely love it. I honestly don't think I could hit my recommended caloric intake (2997kcal / day) if I tried, it's just really hard to want to eat that much. I currently fast 5 days a week 20:4 omad (I consume it over the 4 hr eating window), weekends I'm a lot more loose with my eating habits just due to not being as busy as I am at work. I still have a very hard time waking up though, I just feel like I'm in a really foggy state of mind for the first 20-30 mins after waking up. I've been on point for my macro's as far as maintaining protein levels and I use fat as a tool to make sure I'm full, carbs are the only thing that I actually have to monitor. I really wish I would have taken a photo before starting this but it wasn't really something I had planned to do. Out of all the benefits of this lifestyle I am most grateful for how it has brought my partner and I closer, just cooking together in the kitchen and planning meals together has been a great experience. To everyone out there on the fence or having a hard time, you are amazing and you can do this! If you hit a wall just know that nothing is stronger than your will power and determination.
