I'm 6'9 and have always been a bigger frame. Over the last year or so I've crept over 300lb and really started feeling it in my face and body. A few years ago I was comfortably at 240-260, which for my height is a healthy weight.
Started keto Intermittent fasting on July 2nd. Also cut out drinking for the summer as it was the easiest gateway to 'I'll order a friggen pizza' Watching what I take in has made me very conscious about how much I was consuming. Trying to stick between 1500-2000 calories per day is easier each week, and sometimes I have to remind myself to get the calories I require.
I'm down 20 pounds on just the diet and feel loads better.
I grabbed a gym membership this week and have been doing 30-45 minutes of cardio each day, with plans to start getting into weights as well in the next week or 2. Looking to do 60-90 minutes a day at the gym by the end of summer and pushing to make sustainable changes.
Do I miss Pizza and beer? yeah. Do I enjoy feeling healthy? hell yeah.
Hopefully by the new year I'll be the man I once was.
