I'm a big fan of good gut health, which goes hand in hand with keto and the no sugar side of things. I also think that better gut health probably plays a role in why people report feeling better mentally when on keto after some time. There is more and more evidence that gut inflammation plays a primary role in a long list of illnesses including coronary artery disease, obesity and depression.
I'm interested to hear what other people do for good gut health while on keto? I like to have (real) kimchi and kombucha daily and also take a probiotic along with some other supplements.
Also if you haven't seen some of Dr. Rhonda Patrick's videos on the topic I highly recommend checking them out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q9XZCfgb6M
