[NSV / Rant] They want me to fail

Post Body

So I have been on keto for a month now, down 17.8 lbs. My family is all aware of it as I have been posting pictures of the different meals my husband and I make. While my mother is very supportive my grandmother wants to see me fail. It wouldnt be so bad but we work together.

I am the current owner of a family business, that my grandmother started and she wont retire from. The job involves sitting at desks for long hours and can be really stressful, my grandma is even more stressful. I used food to cope with that stress.

Recently since starting the diet her and her close friend, also one of my employees, have made a point to bring in sweets and offer them to me. The sweets were common enough before, but the harassment to eat them is new. 7-8 times a day they are shoving the stuff in my face. No matter how many times I say Im not interested they keep “offering”.

I tried to have ther “look im serious” talk, still doing it. I went into details about my PCOS with my grandma and why the diet was so important to follow, still doing it. Im ready to start pulling hair out.

Before anyone says anything about firing my grandmother or the other employee I really cant. Huge family issues and a lack of people that can do the job have me in a tough bind.

My NSV was today when I though ahead and portioned out my food so that every time they offered I could eat a healthy alternative that was in my diet. I turned down the lemon cake, I wanted it but it didnt break me. They want me to fail and my anger and disappointment at that is driving me to succeed.
