Hi everyone!
I've been losing weight with CICO since May 19th. I was down 63 pounds at the beginning of this week... and the last week, and the week before that, and the week bef...
Long story short, I've cycled onto Keto, to try and break the plateau, and to try and change things up in my diet. I could not be happier with this choice at this point, and have a lot of thanks to give to this sub for showing me the way! This was not a decision made lightly, because consuming no carbs, to someone who is used to them, is pretty awful for a few days!
I started this monday (10/23), maintaining my usual calorie deficit but shooting for macros of 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% Carb, limiting myself to 20g carbs a day. I started at 451.2 Lbs, and as of this morning, Friday 10/27, I am down to 445. Having lost weight before, I know this is water weight, but after the scale has not moved for 5-6 weeks, even a water drop is much appreciated!
Long story short, I look forward to continued success. I know I have a long, long road ahead, but it is filled with bacon and cheese, so it's pleasant enough.
Also, Keto coffee is really good. Unsweetened baking cocoa makes it even better.
