I made an adapted version of Caveman Keto chili and I won the chili cook-off!!

I added extra bacon (about 12 slices) and my own spices (cumin, chipotle chili and some secret combo spices) but everyone really liked it!

I think I may have converted a couple people tonight!

Also, everyone is enjoying cookies and chips and I'm just sitting here enjoying cauliflower and my chili.

Recipe: http://cavemanketo.com/caveman-chili/

Ingredients

8 Thick cut bacon (I used double this)

2 lbs (32 oz) Ground Pork

300 g Yellow Onion (1 medium onion)

300 g Green Pepper (3 small peppers)

6 oz Tomato Paste

1 can Diced Tomatoes, drained

1 pack McCormick Original Chili Seasoning (I used Hot)

To taste Salt, pepper and garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder.

Instructions 1. Chop onions and peppers and place in crockpot

  1. Brown pork, add salt and pepper, drain, cool and put in crockpot

  2. Cut bacon into small pieces, cook, drain, cool, and put in crockpot

  3. Drain tomatoes and add to the crockpot

  4. Add the tomato paste

  5. Add seasoning packet to chili

Cook for 6 hours on low

PLAY AROUND WITH SPICES TO MAKE IT WORK FOR YOUR OWN TASTES!
