It's currently 3:00 AM and I'm just hanging out in my dorm room, munching on a bag of Baken-ets and watching folks stream on twitch, and it just struck me how natural it feels getting back into Keto again.
My original run took me from 305 lbs down to 250 in only a few months, but then stress came in the form of a terrible job, college problems, and fiscal hardships, and I fell off the train in mid-June 2013. After entirely reverting back to my bored/stressed eating ways for a year and a half, I'm finally getting back on track, with a goal of around 200 lbs by the time I (hopefully) leave to study abroad in Japan, late August 2015. Granted, I don't actually have a scale anymore, so I'll have to pick one up at some point, but for now visual results are more important anyway.
So far, getting back into the swing of things has been a bit of a mixed bag, with dangerously low energy for the first couple of days. (slept something like 12 hours Thursday night.) but now, 6 days in, I'm almost back to feeling how I was, and the hunger and cravings have pretty much stopped, and that wonky taste is back in my mouth.
Anyway, this is already probably too long, so TL;DR: I'm back in the game, and ready to better myself.
