Ive had a long history of yoyo dieting/binge eating. A couple years ago I lost 120 lbs on keto but I let cheat meals in and ended up going off the rails and the binging cycle continued. Now I've been going to Overeaters Anonymous and I'm actually sticking with low carb. Their recommended diet was pretty much keto anyway and since I know I've had success in the past I am just going to stick with keto. I haven't had a binging episode since I have started OA and am starting to notice the weight coming off again.
So I just want to say that if there is anyone who is reading this and feels the same way as me that your eating habits aren't like others and that your eating habits feel more like an addiction than they do just eating there is help. OA may not be right for everyone but I'm taking it one day at a time. For me my greatest enemy is "tomorrow". I always said " I swear TOMORROW I will eat better and no more binging!" But tomorrow never came. Please if you struggle with compulsive overeating get help. You are not alone.
