Just got my blood test back from WellnessFX.
The bad: Total Cholesterol, LDL and Triglycerides have shot way up. Plus, my Apo B (the protein in bad LDL cholesterol that helps these particles bind to and clog blood vessels) is off the charts at 140 (over 80 is high risk level).
The good: HDL is up, inflammation markers (hs-CRP) and glucose are low, and Lp(a) is super low (under 75 is low risk).
Mixed bag all around, but the bad news is quite shocking. Talk me off the keto cliff?
RECENT POST-KETO TEST
Total Cholesterol: 283! (under 200 is low risk)
HDL: 68 (over 40 is good / over 60 is great)
Triglycerides: 79 (under 150 is low risk)
LDL: 199! (under 100 is low risk, over 130 is high risk)
Glucose: 80 (between 50-100 is low risk)
3 MOS PRE-KETO TEST
Total Cholesterol: 169
HDL: 60
Triglycerides: 46
LDL: 100
Glucose: 93
