I have never, EVER thought that I'd go below 160lbs again. After 6 months on keto, I didn't expect that I'd still be dropping pounds! I'm proud to say that I am now officially a size 10, down from a size 20. I've lost 9 inches off my waistline, and I can now feel my collarbone, hipbone and ribs! When I first started keto, I initially planned to do it for just 2 months, but I got hooked on bacon and pork rinds and that feeling of never going hungry all the time. This might be a lifetime thing for me now.
I recently had my bloodwork done and my HDLs are too damn high, with waaaay low LDLs, Triglycerides and blood glucose levels. After showing my bloodwork results to my friends, I've inspired some of them to start keto, or at least low carb. I'm also educating myself on the scientific processes of keto by listening to la vida lowcarb podcasts so I can explain more science-y stuff to my friends.
Here's a photo of my bloodwork: http://imgur.com/ZYXU4wF
And a before/after pic of my face from my highest weight(220) and one from a few hours ago(158)(I'm 29, I swear): http://imgur.com/Q5QXk1c
I wish to inspire some of you who are just starting out :)
EDIT: Sorry I should have clarified it earlier, my bloodwork results are all positive. Also, we have a history of heart disease and diabetes in my family so I'm really glad that I'm becoming an exception. Haha.
