Hey r/keto! I've got my first SV for you all! My keto journey has been pretty slow since I experimented (and failed) with not tracking after the first month. I went back to tracking a month ago and I am seeing much success.
I have finally hit my halfway point to my goal (though my weight goal can change depending on what I get to)! This means 15 pounds down, which is very meaningful to me because it's been a little over 6 months since I came off of some medication that put all that weight on. Now I'm out of the red, and trying to profit from this momentum!
My original goal was to get to my goal weight by the end of July. I realize 15 pounds in 5 weeks is impossible, so I am aiming to get there before school starts again. My 21st birthday may be a bump in the road with all of that alcohol, hehe!
Anyone else out there who lost weight slower than most ketoers, due to your own mistakes, or something out of your control?
