Due to several health and weight reason I'm went back on a Keto Program. And I feel great. Shed several lbs (26). And my energy levels are way up as is my mental health.
I stopped going to the gym as I was embarrassed, I know dumb, but I wanted to get my diet under control again and shed some weight before I went back to the gym.
I was pretty regular at the gyms every 2nd day. I made the mistake of hiring a personal trainer last go around. She was a competitive builder. And was in amazing shape. She convinced me at the time I needed to get off Keto and start bringing in carbs if I wanted to build muscle agn. 58 Male.
So I started with clean Carbs. That went down a slippery slope. I tried to out exercise a bad diet. And failed and eventually stopped going to the gym, and just got really fat again.
I've decided I'm at the point where I feel good about going back to the gym and have decided tommorow will be my first day back on my old routine (pretty much starting over as it's been 6 months since I hit the gym).
This time staying on Keto. ( I have too for many reasons).
I never should have listened in the past. I was just bad. I'm an all or nothing personality. I don't moderate worth a darn. So Gym on full Keto this time.
Gotta show the young folk at work that the old man can still pull his own weight.
