Long story short: I have done the whole low/no carb thing in the past (always called it atkins, but same idea). Went well one time, went ok the next, went terrible the last time I tried it about 4 years ago (got really sick and stopped after just a week or so).
Now I am back on it. Have been for 5 days and doing very well. I think the 10ish carbs I allow per day have staved off that bad sickness I got last time.
I seek your tips and tricks. I want to stay on it, hopefully for good. I have a terrible sweet-tooth, but have actually been doing just fine without any sweets at all so far (that is a pretty big thing for me personally).
I want to know how you keep your food prices down (meats and fish are so much more expensive than carb based stuff). Do you cook casseroles on the weekend for the week to cut down on cooking time? What veggies do you use to compliment what meats, and no on.
Last time I successfully did this I was in my very early 20s, so I stuck to a lot of tuna and chicken and hot sauce. I would like to expand my menu now that I am a bit older now. I have an almost 1 year old at home, so I would also appreciate any time-savers.

EDIT: I could really use some tips on breakfasts. I hate waking up an extra half hour early to cook some eggs and cleanup and all.
