Hello everyone! The wife and I started keto a little over two months ago (starting week 9). I'm extremely happy to report after my weigh-in today i'm now down from 340 to 297.6 (42.4 pounds!). Kind of wild to think that I haven't been this light since high school, and while I wouldn't consider 300 to be light by any means It's amazing how much better I'm feeling already. My goal was 200 pounds, but at the rate this is going, I might actually be there by the end of the year. It's really insane how unhealthy I've been for the last 2 decades, and yet I've changed so much in just two months 😱. Heres the breakdown for my current routine:
Meal: OMAD (one meal a day)
Limits: 25g sugar or less, 30-50 carbs ideally
Fasting: I've been trying to keep to a 24-hour fast period between meals. Today's was 28 hours, which is a new record.
Veggies (roughly 5-6 cups): kale, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, leafy greens/salad.
Meat/Fat: fish, steak with some fat, organic butter, 15% fat ground beef, sausages. Flying dutchman with grilled onions (In N Out), asada wet burrito in green sauce (no tortilla, legit just meat and sauce)
Fluids: electrolyte water, whole lemon blended with a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar in ice water (It tastes disgusting but it's great to help fat burning when you first wake up and before your meal). We also do a kiefer shake with 1 cup kiefer, 1 cup frozen blueberries (this and the kiefer makes up basically all our 25g of sugar for the day) 2 cups frozen kale and 1 cup water.
Supplements: Biotin, zinc, D3, B complex, magnesium, milk thistle, choline & inositol, bile salts, tocotrienols (tocopherol free), potassium.
If there's any questions or if you have tips on how I can improve, I'm all ears 🍻
