I feel much more productive with this diet

Long story short I am skinny fat - boo who.
(21M - 5'8" - 140 pounds - around 20% body fat).
I am trying to do a 6-week diet of eating 1600 to 1800 calories (workout days) to lose around a pound a week and I am so happy the first few days in. I know I won't have abs of steel by May but I want a flater stomach so doing a 10:14 makes things so easy.
Although my stomach growls a bit every now and then thERE ARE SO MANY PROS TO THIS DIET
- I don't waste anything
- I feel less bloated then when I bulk
- Save money
- More energy
