About a year ago I was about 300 lbs and have been obese since age 5. Currently 229. I have NEVER done a pull up or chin up. I decided it was time to be healthy and a complete pull up/ chin up was my first goal. I have been attempting 20:4 or OMAD for about 7 months, adding exercise, and eating smarter(more vegetables less carbs/ sugar). I have been hanging on my stair case ledge almost everytime I go downstairs.

This weekend we went to visit my in laws for sister in law wedding and they had a squat rack. I walked up and did a good form pull up! I was so shocked that my chin went above the bar, that I had to try again. I competed the second chin up as well, but it was harder.

Now time for the next non scale goal. What should it be? Army fitness test?
