New to IF. Would doing a mix of 5:2, OMAD, and 16:8 be a good choice?
Post Body

I know that you can do whatever way works best for themselves, but I just wanted to bounce ideas off others?

I already skip breakfast or lunch from time to time due to various reasons. I was thinking of doing 5:2, but on my 5's doing 16:8 timing and on my 2's doing OMAD. I realize that I can do it however I like, but I was just wondering if it would be beneficial.

My goal is to be healthier with the perk of losing whatever amount of weight I may happen to lose.

(Personal background) I do a lot of cooking at home, but my husband and I enjoy going out to eat maybe twice a week. Cooking, baking and eating is one of my biggest joys in life and I've tried to fight it when dieting, but fail because of my love for food, and I don't like most vegetables or fish, so that can be a limiting dieting factor. Which is why I want to try IF to get healthier versus "dieting." I hate counting calories, because when cooking, since I cook for more than just me, I have to take into account every measurement of each thing I use, or figure out what my husband has cooked with... It can be a major hassle. Its easier to buy pre-made food with stated calorie counts, which I prefer to avoid.
