First 4 pics are from December and last 4 are from the last 2 days. I practiced daily intermittent fasting, weekly 36-48 hour fasting, I’m also vegetarian (been vegetarian for 4 years after a mushroom 🍄 trip, I’m not lying), I almost completely eliminated sugar out of my diet, 1-2 meals per day when I do eat, and I also began lifting & doing cardio again after a year of being depressed as fuck due to losing my fiancé, apartment, job, and basically my whole life (had to move back in with my dad), due to me having no money after I went to live in Asia for 2 months and spiraled into a really bad drug abuse period.
I’ve come to realize that our gut health is of VITAL importance in weight loss, like it’s the literal key. I eat a lot of probiotics, consume herbal shots daily (turmeric, black pepper, cumin powder, cinnamon, and various other herbs in a single nasty shot lol), and I also eat strictly tempeh as my protein source, quinoa daily for healthy carbs, and fruits/veggies every day. This requires A LOT of discipline, but it can be done. I also credit muscle memory too for the rapid transition back to physical prowess, because I’ve been working out ever since I was 12-13 years old and have ALWAYS been in decent shape (minus a few years between 19-22 where I was actually very overweight).
I’m extremely proud of myself and now intend on focusing on bulking up my arms and chest to reach new physical levels that I never reached, I’m 26M btw and I’m just now reaching the best shape of my life. Never too late to turn your health around boys! I also need to stop using so many damn drugs lol.
