28 & 5'2.

I did 16:8, cut out most processed foods and only drank water or tea. I stayed with the fasting & eating window strictly for 3 months and eventually just followed it, but would eat whenever. I don't really have a photo of myself from last year due to embarrassment of my weight. I could only find a photo of myself from June 2019.

I'm proud of this progress! the only thing I don't like is the "skinny privilege" it automatically came with. I noticed people are kinder to me than I was when I was chubby. I was always over 175lbs growing up poor with parents who never knew how to cook more than 6 regular things.

I felt water in my foot last year and knew that wasn't a good sign. I did research here before starting. In the beginning, I would make sure to walk at least 10,000k steps on a track every week. three weeks of walking, I started jogging! I try and keep up with fitness regularly but winter is tough on my little legs. I do try my best to dance or stretch to get some sweat & exercise in.

As of last December, I don't have to take insulin for my type 2 diabetes. My fasting sugars are in normal range too! I remember having an AC1 that was 13.0 when I was in my early 20s. I never took my health seriously with a family history of diabetes, I am glad I do now. 😊

have a good day!
