Ladies - I've dabbled with IF on and off for a year now. I lost and gained 10 pounds back. I've recently started following/listening to M.P (fasting like a girl) about fasting with your cycle. Because of previous hormone issues, I feel like the approach may be best for me. I'm 40, 165 lbs, do 30 min hiit/strength training a week and have no problem fasting foe 12-16 hours. Have any of you followed her plan and had good success, or conversely followed and saw no changes. I'm 3 weeks back on IF and 10 days out from my cycle right now so only fasting 12 hours or not at all to honor my hormones. For some reason my brain tells me if you don't fast for 10 days a month you won't see changes. However, as a nurse I appreciate and value that extra stress on your body during certain times of the month can do more bad than good long term.
