J&T2/VDIP Mashup - Custom version of J&T2, with VDIP implementation
Post Body

Hey guys,

Since u/gzcl released all the info about VDIP, I was looking for a way to implement it into J&T2 because of how much I loved it during my first go round.

I had great success with the layout of J&T2 (only tweaked based on my garage gym equipment limitations and due to a shoulder injury), so I wanted to build off that and tweak it to give VDIP a try. Due to an AC joint sprain in my shoulder, I took out benching (which was only reverse grip) and OHP for the second half of the routine and put in a DL day and a bent over row day.

All that said, I built off of what I put together for myself to build a J&T2/VDIP mash-up and thought I would share it here. I had some fun putting this together - spending several hours customizing it and writing a script to calculate the 1RM based on the day's planned 10-, 8-, etc RM test. It uses the average of several published formulas. I'm not sure if it'll work for you guys, or if I have to upload it to Google Sheets too or whatnot, so let me know.

Also, the list that is leveraged for the workouts was done by u/Sombrero_Galaxy, I just added to it, so I want to give credit where it is due. That'll make it easier to change it up for you based on the equipment availability, or if you don't like my choices.

For anyone interested, here is a DOWNLOAD LINK. Please feel free to provide any feedback!

EDIT: For anyone interested in leveraging this Spreadsheet to its full potential, you will need to add this script for the repMaxAvg calculation to your Sheet. Directions are within the document!
