Jesus fuckign christ, how do you guys do this?
I just moved into a new place and have decided to get serious about bettering myself. I'm currently 62.3Kg, aiming for 70kg. Got a gym membership and trying the Basic Beginner Routine. I'm hoping to first stick with it for 3 months, then aim for 3 months of the 5/3/1 for Beginners.
I just made a shake worth 880 Cal, this shit is so hard to finish. The taste is pretty awesome, but man, that last quarter is just... I'm trying to force myself to finish it. How the hell do you guys manage to even make it to 2000 cal?
I know, it's gonna be hard before it gets easier to eat as much, but do you have any tips to make life easier?
EDIT: I've had an actual proper breakfast and a snack today (2 cups soy milk, 1 scoop protein, 1 banana, 1 breakfast bar and a brownie) and hit around 1000 calories already. It's much more manageable than scarfing down that shake. I realise now how much I can eat if I simply space it a little in between.
I'm very grateful to you guys for the encouragement and advice. I will keep going on this journey.
Edit/Update 20/11/21: I've recently started being hungry. I can't believe it. I used an app to scan the barcodes for my stuff and I'm easily hitting 1800 calories, sometimes as far as 2000 per day. The shake is closer to 950 calories. I am now drinking that in the morning and eating a full meal at 12:30 and by 5pm, I am hungry.
I've also seen a minute increase in weight, but it has been consistant over a month. Currently at 63.1kg and I'm able to lift slightly heavier weights, so the PPL seems to be working so far.
I'd like to thank everyone from the community for giving me perspective, encouragement and guidance. Thanks guys.
