Is having a shake with every meal normal or advised?

Been breaking out badly with acne lately, so I've dropped dairy for a while.
Which sucks, because whole milk and whey protein were definitely my friend.
To meet my caloric goals, I make a shake containing oatmeal, egg whites, banana , almond milk, and a large of handful of nuts like almond and cashews.
It's all "real food" , but is a shake with every meal overkill?
